New Zealand to Pacific Islands Bunker Adjustment Factor

November 1, 2019

Further to Swire Shipping efforts to ensure that we are compliant with the IMO2020 regulations, Swire Shipping will changeover fully to the more expensive IMO2020 compliant fuel types in December.

As a result, Swire Shipping wishes to advise that the Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) applicable for cargo shipped from New Zealand to Fiji, New Caledonia, Vanuatu, Tonga, Western Samoa and American Samoa for the month of December 2019 will be as follows:

Quantum (reviewable monthly):

Containers: USD 305/20’ or USD 610/40’

Breakbulk:  USD 17.00/rt

The above surcharge will apply for all consignments showing a Swire Shipping Bill of Lading date of 1 December 2019 or later for connections from New Zealand to Fiji, New Caledonia, Vanuatu, Tonaa, Western Samoa and American Samoa.

For further information on this notice, and more details on upcoming IMO2020 regulations, please do not hesitate to contact your local Swire Shipping representative.
