Bunker Adjustment Factor-Exports from Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands

Following review of the IFO 380 fuel prices, Swire Shipping wishes to advise that the Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) applicable on Exports from Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands will increase as outlined below.

Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) 

USD 665.00 per TEU

USD 1,330.00 per FEU

USD 33.25 per r/t

The above surcharge will apply for all consignments showing a Swire Shipping Bill of Lading date of 1 September 2019 or later for connections from Papua New Guinea or Solomon Islands to:

• Solomon Islands (from Papua New Guinea)

• Fiji

• Micronesia

• New Caledonia

• New Zealand

• Vanuatu

• Majuro, Nauru, and Rarotonga

• Samoa, American Samoa, Papeete, Nuku’alofa, Kiribati

A further review of bunker fuel prices will occur at the end August 2019 for application for October 2019 sailings.
