PAST MONTH
Due to upcoming changes with IMO2020 regulations, Swire Shipping now has requirements for both IFO380 and IMO2020 compliant fuel types.
To simplify the BAF calculation through the IMO2020 compliant fuel transition, the Australia to Pacific Islands service trade lane will move to a single Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF). With high price volatility anticipated during the transition phase, the review frequency will change to monthly.
The Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) will be applicable on all Northbound cargo from Australia to the Pacific Islands and all Southbound cargo from the Pacific Islands to Australia.
Revised BAF levels as follows:
USD 398.00 per TEU
USD 796.00 per FEU
USD 23.41 per r/t
Effective vessel / voyages:
Northbound
Melanesian Pride V.018N
Southbound
Forum Samoa 4 V.018S
